About Geela/ biography

Hers is an extraordinary personal story of triumph over adversity and beating the odds, including poverty, discrimination, abuse and the language barrier.  It’s a story of courage, hope, faith, tenacity and countless true miracles, including an amazing life-transforming event; a near-death experience resulting from a horrific car crash, followed by divine revelations and a divine plan for a higher purpose. 

Geela was born in a remote part of Iran, she then moved with her family at the age of four to a small town in Israel where she lived in the shadow of constant terrorism and senseless violence.  It was a place where very few owned cars, TV sets or telephones - in a culture that did not allow women to pursue a career, much less their dreams.  As early as age 13 Geela, who loved music passionately, was already performing, doing live performances for pay, including for the prime minister of Israel and many other high governmental officials.  At the age of 15 she received an award for Best Performance at the National Singing Competition (the equivalent of “American Idol”) for which she received rave reviews, national media coverage and offers from major record labels.  Geela was the lead singer for the most prestigious military band – the Israeli Air Force Band - for two years while representing Israel in various prominent international events next to celebrities. 

 At the age of nineteen, Geela packed her few belongings and made her way from the volatile Middle East to America, the Land of Opportunity, in search of the American Dream.  She had no money, no support system and did not know the language or the customs.  It was, in short, a complete culture shock.  Despite years of constant struggle and isolation (separated from her family and friends) Geela felt blessed to have the opportunity afforded her, an opportunity that many native-born Americans take for granted.  Adversity didn’t make her bitter, but better.  Hardships merely brought out deep inner wisdom and strength in her and were used as a springboard to success.  

Eventually, Geela overcame these incredible obstacles to achieve the American Dream.  But just as she was enjoying a blossoming musical career, her life took an unexpected turn when she had a horrific car crash.  It was an incredible life-transforming event (a near-death experience) which resulted in divine revelations, a divine plan for a higher purpose and the discovery of Geela’s true calling.  It became clear that the reason she came half way around the world and ended up in America was not for self-fulfillment but rather for fulfilling a mission for a higher purpose - to become the messenger of the word of God.  Geela is extremely passionate about three causes: children (because they are our future), women (because they are the true architects of change) and education (because education is the foundation of everything in life as it opens the doors of opportunity to achieving success and enlightenment).

 Geela continues to deliver the word of God in a variety of ways. Her highly anticipated latest book entitled ‘The Secret Ingredient to Achieving Success & Prosperity’is based on Geela’s unique human capital solution (Elimination by Illumination Perfected’ TM) which revolutionizes the approach to effectively tackling societal problems, transforming communities and individuals’ lives. 

Geela is currently in the process of launching a distinctive media company, which blends entertainment with contemporary vision by utilizing the power of multi-media, celebrities and music in order to make a positive global impact.  She is the founder of an innovative nonprofit organization (One Spirit, One World) whose mission is to bring together key community and business leaders in order to affect change positively.  As such, she has created Operation Spiritual Relief – a unique humanitarian relief effort to help victims of natural disasters while helping disadvantaged people to become self-sufficient - and The Spirit Club which provides an opportunity for key community and business leaders and celebrities to get involved while supporting Geela’s efforts.

With many years of extensive experience, including cutting-edge research, Geela is a recognized human potential and educational expert who has worked closely with various education leaders and the Los Angeles City Council on important educational issues.  She has also worked closely with various high profile people and reputable organizations such as UNICEF, Youth Human Rights International (under the United Nations) and the Los Angeles Lakers, in a collaborative effort with the Los Angeles Unified School District to help kids in inner-city schools stay in school and off drugs. 

Geela is not only living proof that the possible always exceeds the impossible, but she personifies the true spirit of the American Dream, which was built on perspiration, innovation, risk and reward.  Her extraordinary story of courage, hope and high vision proves that with determination and dedication, success is within everyone’s grasp.  Despite her many accomplishments, Geela insists that this is not about the messenger, but rather about a timely unifying message of hope, healing and peace for all.

Geela lives in Westlake Village, CA with her husband John and their daughter Ashley.  Her efforts on all fronts have been recognized with many awards and rave reviews from the media such as KABC Los Angeles and WorldNetDaily.com, and bestselling authors such as Deepak Chopra, Mark Victor Hansen, co-creator of “Chicken Soup for the Soul” series.
